Govt withdraws plea to quash Gill’s bail

The federal government Wednesday withdrew its plea for quashing the bail of PTI leader Shehbaz Gill, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
SC Chief Justice Umar Atta Bandial conducted the in-chamber proceeding.
Advocate Rizwan Abbasi appeared in the chamber and submitted that Shahbaz Gill had committed the crime again and a new case was registered against him.
He contended that an application will be filed in the forum concerned for the cancellation of Shahbaz Gill's bail.
The top court accepted the federal government’s request and dispose of the petition.
