Social media platform Tik Tok has started collecting online applications from deserving students across Pakistan for a scholarship program, reported 24NewHDtV channel.  

Tik Top in collaboration with ed-tech startup Edkasa has formed a scholarship program that will provide grants to 18,000 deserving students of Pakistan.

This new campaign has been announced months after the success of TikTok’s #ExamReady campaign launched around June 2022.

The #ExamReady was a partnership project between TikTok, Edkasa and Pakistan’s leading education institute ‘LUMS’. 

Promoting the concept of digital learning, the project facilitated online education for high school students.

The students who are selected will be provided with over two months of Edkasa’s free studying materials as well as access to an exam pack for whichever grade or exam they have applied for.

Aimed at students that are studying through economic troubles, the scholarships are open to all students across Pakistan.

This collaboration provided students with access to over 500 million videos covering subjects like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

“TikTok is a platform that offers diverse content across multiple categories and education remains a key vertical for us. 

Gaining over 665 million views since their launch, the #examready videos were evidently popular amongst Pakistani students.
