Two women disguised as men arrested for house theft in Bengaluru
Bangalore police have arrested two girls who carried out a house robbery while disguised as men, 24NewsHD TV reported on Sunday.
According to Indian media, the suspects, Shalu and Nilu, targeted the house of a rickshaw driver while he was away for work.
They stole valuable items and fled the scene, attempting to evade police by wearing men’s clothing in a film-inspired disguise.
The rickshaw driver filed a complaint, prompting authorities to review CCTV footage, which clearly showed the girls in male attire.
Investigators also traced the vehicle used in the crime through its registration number, leading to the successful identification and arrest of the suspects.
Police have confirmed that further investigations are underway to determine if the duo was involved in other similar incidents in the area.
