In yet another gruesome honour killing incident, the bodies of a young couple were dumped in a canal after being murdered in Gujrat but police haven’t yet registered a case despite the post-mortem report, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

According to details, the 22-year-old girl and 19-year-old boy were killed at the same spot in the Kunjah area. However, the Kunjah Police Station officials did not register a case over the barbaric murder even after post-mortem report.

It is revealed that the boy was badly tortured before the murder as his eyes, nose and tongue were cut. He also received three bullets in his chest.

After the incident, the victim girl’s family members pretended that she was mentally disturbed and had committed suicide by jumping into the canal.

However, 24NewsHD unearthed the truth as the record shows that the two had a telephonic conversation before the murder. Moreover, they were in love with each other and planned to marry in the next few days.

Meanwhile, the bodies have been handed over to the heirs amid zero action by the area police.
