PM wants Punjab MNAs reservations removed
A delegation of national assembly members has complained to Prime Minister Imran Khan about ‘unavailability’ of Punjab CM Usman Buzdar.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has issues directives to removing reservations of members of national assembly (MNAs) from Punjab, sources said on Saturday.

Confusion between Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and MNAs from Punjab should be avoided at all costs, the PM said while talking a delegation of parliamentarians at a meeting in Lahore.

According to the insiders, the MNAs complained about delay in development schemes of their constituencies, corruption at grassroots and unavailability of provincial chief executive.

The delay inflicted serious damage upon the vote bank, the lawmakers said, adding that the chief minister prefers meeting with MPAs to parleys with MNAs.

The issues invited PM’s ire who urged the Punjab CM to step up campaign against corruption and questioned the performance of provincial departments. He said he came to know about the unbridled corruption in parts of Lahore and Mianwali.

He also issued directives to launch development projects as soon as possible

On the request of MNA Riaz Fatyana for electricity supply to the remote areas, he said the provincial government and the Centre should join hands for the purpose as the country has been facing power problem for long.
