Gold prices go up Rs1,550 in a day

The gold prices in Pakistan have increased by Rs1,550 per tola to settle at Rs142,400 per tola after witnessing a hike in the dollar rate in Pakistan on Monday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association (ASSJA) has said that the price of 24 karats pure gold settled at Rs1,42,400 per tola.
The association said the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also increased by Rs1,329 to settle at Rs1,22,085.
In the international market, the price of a yellow metal gained $6 per ounce to settle at $1,715.
Meanwhile, silver prices in the domestic market remained unchanged at Rs1,346.02.
