A case of harassment of the Air Traffic Controls (ATC) at the Faisalabad Airport Control Tower from security officials has become on surfaced on Monday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the Faisalabad Airport Manager has sent a report to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Headquarters Karachi with a demand for action against the accused officials.
The Manager’s report disclosed that the incident of entry of ASF personnel into the ATC control tower took place on July 14 at 12 o'clock at night.
Chief Security Officer Rashid Iqbal posted at ASF Faisalabad along with armed personnel entered the ATC control tower without permission and harassed them.
The entry of ASF personnel into the air traffic control tower without permission is a violation of International Civil Aviation Organization rules and could be harmful to flights.
The ASF chief security officer was also seen in the terminal building in protocol with the armed men while PRO Saifullah has been seen repeatedly in lounges without a uniform and card.
