Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Core Committee on Monday endorsed the decision of nominating Chaudhry Parvez Elahi of Quaid League as the Chief Minister of Punjab.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the PTI core committee meeting was held under the chairmanship of Imran Khan in Islamabad on Monday. 
In the meeting, the decision to nominate Chaudhry Parvez Elahi as the Chief Minister of Punjab was endorsed while a historic success in the Punjab by-elections was also discussed.
The participants also reviewed the future organizational and political strategy of the PTI and decided that attention will be given to local and by-elections in Sindh.
