Imran Ashraf's Punjabi debut to hit cinemas on this date
Imran Ashraf is set to charm his fans and followers as he makes his international film debut with the Punjabi comedy Enna Nu Rehna Sehna Nai Aunda, which is all set to hit cinemas on August 22, 2025.
Taking to Instagram, the Ranjha Ranjha Kardi star dropped the film’s poster, captioning: “Ok then see you in cinemas on 22 August 2025. We really worked hard for this. Love u all.”
Dressed in a casual yet stylish look, he appears to embody the spirit of a desi underdog caught in the whirlpool of international student life.
Directed by Rupan Ban and Surinder Arora, the film promises a laugh-out-loud joyride packed with visa drama, midnight paratha runs, and the everyday chaos of desi students abroad.
The star-studded cast features Punjabi music and film heavyweights including Jassie Gill, Ranjit Bawa, Mandy Takhar, Nasir Chinyoti, Nirmal Rishi, Sapna Pabbi, Ravinder Mand, and Sangtar.
Ashraf’s move into Punjabi cinema comes as part of a rising trend of Pakistani actors venturing into international territories.
His debut follows the success of Hania Aamir’s Sardar Ji 3, which is already making waves at the Pakistani box office.
