Islamabad court declares PTI's Omar Ayub as proclaimed offender

Declaring PTI leader Omar Ayub Khan a proclaimed offender in the November 26 protest case, a court in Islamabad on Saturday issued lifelong arrest warrants for him, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Judicial Magistrate Shaista Kundi heard the case. 

The PTI leader failed to appear in court despite repeated summons.

A case had been registered against Omar at Secretariat police station of Islamabad under sections related to different offences.

The case stems from a protest held by PTI on Nov 26, 2024. 

Multiple cases related to this protest are currently being heard in the federal capital these days.

KP Chief Minister Sohail Afridi is also among those nominated in these FIRs.
