Khawaja Asif says CM Maryam has spared billions for Sialkot’s development

Defence Minister and senior PML-N leader Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said that Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif had spared billions of rupees for the development of Sialkot city, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Addressing the Faiz Ahmed Faiz Flyover inauguration ceremony in Sialkot on Saturday, Khawaja Asif said PML-N believes in the politics of service.

Khawaja Asif also announced that the first phase of the Ring Road around Sialkot will start soon. “I am grateful to the Prime Minister and Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for paying attention to the development of Sialkot,” he maintained.

Khawaja Asif said Mian Nawaz Sharif gifted Sialkot a motorway and work on the Kharian Motorway will be further accelerated.

The minister said four tehsils will be linked in the first phase of the Sialkot Ring Road. “Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has allocated billions of rupees for Sialkot,” he added.
