Police bust gang of kite dealers in Lahore

In a major crackdown, police have arrested two members of an inter-provincial kite dealers gang in Harbanspura area of Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

According to details, after receiving credible secret information Station House Officer (SHO) Harbanspura Rana Mohammad Imran caught two kite-suppliers red-handed in the Harbanspura area of Lahore.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Akhtar Nawaz said that police recovered 2,000 kites and 100 110 chemical strings and spools.

During the initial investigation, both accused admitted their involvement in kite supplying. They admitted that after purchasing kites online, the accused used to sell the same in different locations of the city.

SP Cantt further said that the case against the accused will continue through intelligence-based operations.

Cases were registered against the accused, and further investigation was underway.
