The government has made an abrupt and unannounced change to the timings of Lahore Expo Center Thursday that left the citizens in limbo, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

A large number of people came to the Lahore Expo Centre for vaccination only to find closed doors. 

The government has earlier announced to keep the Lahore Expo Centre vaccination centre open round the clock for 24 hours. However, the abrupt change has created difficulties for the citizens. The Expo Centre now will remain open from 8am in the morning till 8pm in the evening.

There was a huge rush in front of closed expo centres as people were unaware of the sudden change in the timings of the centre.

Many people claimed that they have come from far-flung areas to get a vaccine jab but found the centre closed.

There are also reports of vaccine shortage in the country at the moment as the government has intensified the vaccination campaign unwittingly without considering its own sources.
