Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz on Saturday took notice of the murder of late industrialist Seth Abid's daughter in Lahore and sought a report from the Inspector General of Police (IGP), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Hamza Shehbaz said that the murderer should be apprehended and dealt with the full force of the law.

The killed of the Seth Abid’s daughter has taken place in Muslim Town area of Lahore.

Seth Abid had died after a brief illness at a hospital in Karachi on January 8th, 2021. He was about 85.

Based in Lahore and Karachi, Seth Abid was said to be among the 30 richest persons of the country.

Hailing from Kasur, he had reportedly been in a state of grief after the death of his son, Hafiz Ayaz Ahmad, who was gunned down by a security guard in a housing scheme in Lahore in 2006.

Seth Abid’s wife died a few years ago.
