PML-N ex-MNA fined for washing car on road

The Capital Development Authority, Islamabad has imposed Rs35, 000 fine on former PML-N MNA Anjum Aqeel Khan for washing his car on the road and wasting water, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

The CDA issued a notice to Mr Khan in which he was accused of offering a bribe to an employee of the water supply department when the latter issued a challan to the politician.

The former member of the National Assembly also made a video of the CDA official.

Mr Khan has been summoned before the court of a special magistrate on June 23 to clear his position.

The ex-MNA was washing his car at his house on Nazimuddin Road in Sector F-11 of the federal capital.
