Punjab govt not to raise salaries, unions to protest

The government employees unions have announced a sit-in on March 24 against the Punjab government’s decision not to increase their salaries, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Punjab APCA President Zafar Ali Khan on Thursday said government employees will reach Lahore from all over Punjab to stage their protest.
A sit-in will be held outside the Civil Secretariat on March 24 (Wednesday).
He warned that the government must issue a notification of salary increase by March 22, otherwise, it should be ready to face the music.
