ECP issues notice to PM Imran on Malakand visit on March 20

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Friday stopped Prime Minister Imran Khan to hold a rally in Malakand on March 20.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Prime Minister Imran Khan is scheduled to address a rally in Malakand district in connection with the second phase of local body elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The ECP’s District Monitoring Officer Malakand Zia-ur-Rahim on Friday issued a notice to Prime Minister Imran Khan and said he cannot visit the district after the announcement of elections as per rules.
