Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Secretary-General Ahsan Iqbal on Friday claimed that Imran Khan was no more the country’s prime minister and his orders were no more binding, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Speaking to the media in Islamabad, he said since more than 10 MNAs of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) had already shown their ‘no-trust’ in Imran’s leadership, he was short of the ‘magic number of 172’.
PML-N secretary-general urged the government officials not to comply with what he called his (prime minister) ‘illegal orders’. “And if any official is still interested in serving the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) government he better joins the PTI,” he said and warned them of the consequences if they still chose to obey the government orders.
Using cricketing terminology, he said that Imran Khan should bear this thing in mind that he had got retired hurt, and that it was time for him to go. “The no-trust motion has started giving him nightmares,” Ahsan concluded.
