Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz Sharif Friday said that Prime Minister Imran Khan, who used to harp on “not sparing anyone” mantra, would not be spared by people then, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Talking to media after appearing before an accountability court in Lahore, he said that the MNAs were public representatives and they were answerable to people. “They have the constitutional right to vote,” he pointed out.
“What miracle have you [Imran Khan] performed over the past four years? You performed no miracle, but you have denied people’s right to living,” he flayed.
“Imran Khan has shattered the dream of poor people for building a house,” he said and added that the workers were unemployed and inflation was on the rise in the country.
“Imran Khan has told lies only during the past four years. He is a false prime minister who hurls threats at others,” he deplored.
Earlier, Hamza Shehbaz Sharif appeared before an accountability court in Lahore in Ashiana-e-Iqbal Housing Scheme case and Ramazan Sugar Mills reference against the Sharif family.
Amjad Pervaiz, lawyer for Opposition Leader in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif, appeared before the court on his behalf.
A large number of policemen were deployed outside the court.
The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) workers shouted slogans in favour of their party leadership and against Prime Minister Imran Khan.
They also affixed banners of ‘Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’ outside the court.
