Two dacoits were killed in police encounter after robbery bid near Adda plot at Rainwind road Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to police, a local Muhammad Zahid made phone call on police helpline that three dacoits have snatched 30,000 cash and a mobile phone from him near Adda plot. Police party reached the site at once.

Dacoits opened fire at police and during cross firing two dacoits were killed on the spot while third one dacoit escaped from the scene.

The identify of the dacoits could not be verified till the filing of the report. Police and rescue team have shifted the dead bodies to hospital for autopsy.
