CM Maryam Nawaz’s Field Hospitals project faces funds shortage

 Punjab Primary Health Department’s top officers continue to create hurdles in the projects of Punjab government as Maryam Nawaz Field hospitals remain out of funds for the last eight months, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel. 

Owing to lack of funds Maryam Nawaz Field hospitals staff could not even get salaries for the last two months. From August 2024 to March 2025, Rs200 million grant could not be released for the field hospitals. Moreover, Rs6 million funds of the Maryam Nawaz Field hospitals’ inauguration ceremony were still pending. 

Punjab government’s Maryam Nawaz Field Hospitals are providing treatment facilities in 20 districts of Punjab. However, owing to funds shortage, employees of Field Hospitals are deeply worried.
