Kuwait Airways special flight allowed to land at Lahore

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) on Monday gave permission to Kuwait Airways to land a special flight at Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore on May 20 bringing back as many as 163 stranded Pakistanis from Doha.
The CAA Director Air Transport issued the notification in this regard, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. Kuwait Airways special flight EK-636 will land at Lahore Airport on Wednesday.
As per CAA rules, crew members of the plane would not be allowed to come outside of the plane. After bringing in the Pakistanis, the special flight will fly back to Doha.
It is pertinent to mention that as per the decision of the Government of Pakistan, the suspension of international flight operations as effected earlier has already been extended up to Friday, May 31, 2020 at 23:59 hours PST. “Remaining provisions as applicable to the suspension of International flights reflected in previous orders remain unchanged,” CAA said.
