CAA resumes aeronautical tax on domestic passengers

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) will levy a direct tax on domestic flights passengers as CAA has resumed aeronautical charges on domestic flights after a hiatus of two years, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) will collect Rs600 per ticket from passengers.
The CAA has again started charging aeronautical charges on domestic flights as these charges were discontinued from May 15, 2019.
CAA will also charge in terms of plane parking, boarding, and power supply and terminal navigation charges on domestic flights from private airlines and PIA.
