Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Deputy Secretary-General Atta Tarar on Tuesday claimed that two federal ministers were directly involved in Ring Road Scam.
According to 24NewsHD TV Channel, the PML-N leader claimed that two cabinet members of Prime Minister Imran Khan, Ghulam Sarwar Khan and Zulfi Bukhari, were among the direct beneficiaries of the Ring Road project.
The PML-N deputy secretary said there was a letter of instructions from Imran Khan to reward Zulfi Bukhari in the Ring Road project as enough evidence of the matter.
Addressing media persons on Tuesday, Atta Tarar also presented some of the meeting minutes of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s meeting about the Rawalpindi Ring Road project.
Special Assistant to Prime Minister Zulfi Bukhari on Monday conditionally resigned over the scam probe.
Endorsing a judicial inquiry, he had clarified that he had nothing to do with the Ring Road or any ongoing Real Estate project. He announced to face any inquiry to clarify his position before the nation. Ghulam Sarwar Khan denied the allegations and his involvement in the scam saying he would send a legal notice on it.
