Judge who delivered Sri Lankan murder case verdict transferred

Punjab government called back the services of the Anti-Terrorism Court Gujranwala Judge Natasha Naseem, who penned verdict in Sri Lankan manager mob lynching case, and appointed a new judge against the slot, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Punjab government has appointed District and Sessions Judge Rana Zahid Iqbal as new ATC Gujranwala Judge.

A notification has been issued after the approval of Lahore High Court (LHC). 

LHC has given the services of Rana Iqbal Zahid on deputation on two and half years. 

The notification copy has also been sent to the IHC Registrar Punjab chief secret and other concerned officers and departments.
