Lighting contractor of PTI’s Kohat Rally arrested for poor arrangements

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police on Wednesday arrested the contractor for lighting on poor arrangements in the public meeting of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) held in Kohat yesterday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the PTI rally organizer former minister from Kohat Shahryar Khan Afridi showing anger at poor arrangements has made only half payment of the contract of Rs6.5 million.
The contractor of lighting Sheikh Anwar has claimed that PTI organizer Shahryar Afridi had paid only Rs3 million to him and refused to pay the remaining amount.
The channel report said that he has been detained by the police despite the fact of non-payment of money from the PTI leader.
While the KP police spokesman has said that the negotiations are being held with the concerned contractor Sheikh Anwar.
Pertinent to mention here that yesterday PTI Chairman Imran Khan has made a complaint to Shahryar Afridi for his poor arrangements of lighting in the rally.
