Turkish Ambassador calls on CM Maryam to discuss bilateral ties

Turkish Ambassador Irfan Neziroglu called on Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Sunday to discuss bilateral relation, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel. 

During the meeting, bilateral relations, trade cooperation, regional peace and cultural ties were discussed. CM Maryam said Pakistan was grateful for Turkey's unwavering solidarity on diplomatic, moral and strategic levels against Indian aggression. 

Turkish Ambassador said President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that “Turkey and Pakistan are friends and brothers engraved in hearts. All Pakistanis have heartfelt love and devotion for their brothers and sisters in Turkey”. 

CM Maryam said Pakistani nation will always remember Turkey's recent unconditional support for Indian aggression. 

CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif said that Pakistan and Turkey are not just allies but brothers linked in faith, culture and history. Pakistan-Turkey relations are a shining symbol of mutual trust, unwavering support and shared values. 

I am very grateful for the hospitality of the Turkish government and the First Lady during the visit of the Anatolian Diplomacy Forum. - There is a need to further increase cooperation in bilateral trade between Pakistan and Turkey. We will increase cooperation with Turkey to further strengthen trade. 

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif said that the signing of 24 agreements during the 7th High Level Strategic Cooperation Council is welcome - Punjab is fully prepared to turn friendship with Turkey into an economic movement.
