Ishaq Dar chairs concluding session of Regional Ambassadors’ Conference in Islamabad

The Regional Ambassadors’ Conference, held in Islamabad from May 14 to 18, concluded with a session chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, according to the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the concluding session, the deputy prime minister reviewed the extensive consultations and key recommendations formulated over the past several days. Addressing the participants, Ishaq Dar emphasized Pakistan’s long-standing, historical, and brotherly relations with the Gulf countries and reiterated the government’s commitment to further strengthening these partnerships in political, economic, and people-to-people domains.

He reaffirmed Pakistan’s resolve to promote economic cooperation, as well as regional peace and stability, through proactive diplomacy and engagement. The deputy prime minister underlined that the welfare and well-being of Pakistanis residing in Gulf countries and across the world remain a top priority for the government.

Ishaq Dar also highlighted Pakistan’s constructive and facilitating role in fostering regional harmony and stability. He stressed the need for continuous engagement and coordination to achieve diplomatic objectives.

The deputy prime minister directed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, heads of Pakistani missions abroad, and relevant ministries to maintain close coordination, ensure active diplomatic outreach, and effectively implement the recommendations emerging from the conference.
