Punjab University Announces Summer Vacations from June 1

University of the Punjab has officially announced summer vacations, with classes set to remain from June 1 to August 28, 24NewsHD TV reported on Monday.

According to a notification issued by the university administration, the decision was taken as part of the annual academic schedule amid rising temperatures in the area.

According to the notification, departments have been instructed to complete eighth-semester coursework before the start of the holidays to ensure that students’ academic activities are not affected.

The administration further stated that teaching departments would be allowed to conduct classes and examinations during the vacation period if required under academic needs or examination schedules.

Punjab University is one of Pakistan’s largest and oldest public sector universities, with thousands of students enrolled in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across multiple faculties.
