Former Pakistan batting consultant Matthew Hayden is supporting the Pakistan national cricket team which will face Bangladesh in the three-match T-20I series, starting November 19 in Dhaka.
In his message on Twitter Urdu language, Hayden expressed support for Pakistani players with whom he has spent quality time as a batting consultant during the 2021 T20 World Cup.
Hayden said, “Hello Pakistan! I am currently in Brisbane and completing my quarantine here, but my heart beats with all the players and the support staff of the Pakistan cricket team in Dhaka. I wish the Pakistani cricket team all the best. Come on, Champs, you can do it. Long live Pakistan,” he wrote.”

It is to be noted that Hayden was appointed by the newly elected President of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Rameez Raja as a batting consultant of the Pakistan team for the International Cricket Council (ICC) T20 World Cup.
During Hayden’s short stint as a batting consultant, team Pakistan remained unbeaten in the group stage of the mega event held recently in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
However, men in green lost to Australia by five wickets in the semi-finals last Thursday (November 11) in Dubai.
