Gold price surges by Rs2,200 per tola

As gold price increased by $20 in the international market, the price of one-tola gold surged by Rs2,200 while 10 grams of the glittering metal was also up by Rs1,886 in the Pakistani market, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

After gold increased by $20, the new rate of gold is $2006 an ounce in the international market.

The gold price in Pakistan went up by Rs2,200 to Rs216,500 per tola. Ten grams of gold rate is surged by Rs1,886 to Rs185,614.

However, the price of one tola silver remained at Rs2,550.
