Asjad Iqbal storms into Snooker World Cup semi-finals after dominant win over India’s Pankaj Advani

Pakistan’s Asjad Iqbal stormed into the semi-finals of the Snooker World Cup after defeating India’s renowned cueist Pankaj Advani in the quarter-final clash held in Oman on Tuesday. 

Asjad outclassed his opponent with a flawless display, not allowing Advani to win even a single frame.

The Pakistani cueist sealed the match with commanding frame scores of 100–00, 92–37, 117–16, and 83–21.

Following the match, both players displayed excellent sportsmanship, shaking hands and exchanging an embrace.

Asjad Iqbal will now face France’s Nicolas Mortreux in the semi-final scheduled for tomorrow (Wednesday).
