Asia Cup 2025: Afghanistan clash with Sri Lanka in last match of Group B

Afghanistan are clashing with Sri Lanka in the last match of Group B in the Asia Cup 2025 today.

Afghanistan Captain Rashid Khan won the toss and elected to bat first against Sri Lanka at the Zayed Cricket Stadium in Dubai, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Rashid Khan said Afghanistan wanted to keep things simple and do them right in this pressure game. This is a new surface, but it is usually good for batting here. He said that 165-plus could be a good score.

Sri Lanka Captain Charith Asalanka said he would have opted for something similar had he won the toss.
