Punjab governor visits families of Major Adan, Captain Taimur

Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan on Thursday visited the families of Major Adnan Aslam Shaheed ‎and Captain Taimur Hassan Shaheed to offer condolences and pay tribute to their sacrifices for the nation, ‎‎24NewsHD TV reported.‎

The governor expressed his heartfelt sympathies, offered Fateha for the martyrs and prayed for the elevation of the martyrs’ ‎ranks. ‎He said that Major Adnan fought against terrorists with a great courage and sacrificed his life while ‎saving his friend. ‎

The governor praised the bravery of the martyr’s family. He said the nation salutes the ‎martyrs and their families who sacrificed their lives for the country. He said the nation was proud of ‎such brave sons of the soil.‎

Later, during his visit to the house of Captain Taimur Hassan Shaheed, the Punjab governor offered his condolences and ‎Fateha. He said the nation was enjoying the freedom just because of the sacrifices of martyrs. He said that martyrs’ services would always be remembered.‎

The Punjab governor reiterated that it was a matter of honour to lay down one’s life for the protection of the country.‎
