FIA recovers over Rs180m in visa, banking fraud cases

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Sargodha Circle has recovered more than Rs180 million in visa and banking fraud cases and returned the money to the claimants, 24NewsHD TV reported on Friday.

According to FIA officials, around Rs90 million was recovered in visa fraud cases and handed over to the affected people, while more than Rs90 million was also recovered in banking fraud cases.

FIA Director Sargodha Saqib Sultan distributed cheques among the victims whose money had been recovered.

The affected people thanked the FIA authorities after receiving their money.

FIA officials said legal action against those involved in the fraud cases was continuing.
