NA-77 Gujranwala by-polls to be held on Nov 8

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has announced the schedule for the by-election in NA-77 Gujranwala, with polling set for November 8, 24NewsHD TV reported on Friday.

The seat fell vacant following the death of Chaudhry Mahmood Bashir Virk.

According to the schedule, candidates can submit their nomination papers from September 28 to 30, while the preliminary list of candidates will be published on October 1.

The scrutiny of nomination papers will be completed by October 5, while election symbols will be allotted to candidates on October 19.

The by-election will be held on November 8 under the schedule issued by the ECP.
