Passenger caught at Lahore airport with fake Saudi Airline ticket
A passenger allegedly entered Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore with a fake ticket and reached the international departure lounge, airport sources said, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The passenger was identified as Abdullah, who was travelling on a fake ticket for Saudi Arabia. Airport Security Force (ASF) personnel caught Abdullah after becoming suspicious of the ticket.
The ticket was checked with the concerned airline for verification and was found to be fake.
The ASF handed Abdullah over to police for legal action. An application has been submitted at Sarwar Road Police Station seeking registration of a case against Abdullah.
The latest incident comes a day after another passenger was caught at Lahore airport after allegedly reaching the international departure area without a ticket or passport.
According to police, 35-year-old Ahmed Ali Shahbaz entered the international departure area without a ticket or passport and was caught when ASF personnel became suspicious.
He was handed over to police, who registered a fraud case at Sarwar Road Police Station and launched an inquiry into the incident.
