One of the key members of the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s cabinet Finance Minister Miftah Ismail will visit the USA soon.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Federal Finance Minister Miftah Ismail who took oath today as a cabinet member made a telephonic contact with former finance minister Ishaq Dar in London on Tuesday.
The report said that both the economists discussed some key issues related to the Pakistani economy and relationships with international monetary organizations.
The report said that the Nawaz League’s economic expert Ishaq Dar directed Muftah Ismail to make contact with international financial institutions without any delay.
The report said that Muftah Ismail will stay in London on his return from the United States where he will hold a special meeting with his party’s supremo Mian Nawaz Sharif and Ishaq Dar.
The report also said that four federal ministers will also visit London to meet Nawaz Sharif and Ishaq Dar in the next few days.
