Chinese couple goes missing in Islamabad, police launch investigation

Two Chinese nationals have gone missing in the limits of Margalla Police Station, prompting authorities to launch an investigation into their mysterious disappearance.

According to police, the missing individuals have been identified as Chen Shijun and his wife, Li Xiaoqiong. The couple reportedly went out for dinner at a restaurant in the F-8 Sector of the federal capital but did not return home.

The case came to light after a Chinese resident filed an application with the police, expressing concern over the couple’s sudden disappearance. Officials confirmed that there has been no contact with the missing individuals for the past two days.

Law enforcement authorities stated that an investigation is underway and efforts are being made to trace the couple. “We are looking into all aspects of the incident and will reach a conclusion soon,” a police spokesperson said.
