As part of its preparations for general elections, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has made Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leader Moonis Elahi its nominee from Mandi Bahauddin, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

PTI General Secretary Asad Umar has issued a notification, nominating Moonis Elahi as a PTI candidate from NA-80 Mandi Bahauddin.

It is to be noted here that PML-Q’s Pervaiz Elahi, who is the father of Moonis Elahi, had been elected the previous month as the Chief Minister of Punjab with the votes of the PTI MPAs.
