PM appoints Lt Gen (Retd) Hamood as Secretary of Defence Division

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday appointed Lieutenant General (Retd) Hamood-ul-Zaman Khan as Secretary of the Defense Division.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the appointment of Lt Gen (Retd) Hamood will be effective from August 24, 2022.
A Notification of the appointment of the Secretary of Defense Division has also been issued.
As per the notifications, the appointment of Lt Gen (Retd) Hamood is on a contract basis for 2 years.
