The protest of the lady health visitors from across Punjab has turned into a sit-in outside the Punjab Assembly, 24NewsHD reported late on Thursday night.

The protesters put forward a four-point agenda including bettering their pay scale but their voice fell on a deaf ear.

After hours of protest, the health visitors who came from across the province announced standing firm on their demands and spending the night on The Mall in front of the Punjab Assembly. 

The local workers left for their homes but the outsiders will stay at the sit-in and will spend the night under the open sky.
