Flight schedule faces suspension, delays amid rain in Islamabad, Karachi

Amid monsoon rains in in Islamabad and Karachi, flight schedule of the air traffic remain suspended as several flights were delayed due to bad weather conditions, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel. 

The flights of Guangzhou, Fly Jinnah and Airblue heading towards Islamabad were delayed. The flight of China Southern from Guangzhou to Islamabad was delayed for an hour. The flight of Fly Jinnah from Karachi to Islamabad was delayed for more than 8 hours. The flight of Airblue coming from Dubai was also delayed for more than 8 hours. 

The flight of National Airlines from Islamabad to Gilgit was cancelled. The flight of Airsial from Islamabad to Riyadh was also delayed for more than 2 hours. The flight of Airblue from Islamabad to Jeddah was delayed for more than 3 hours. The Jinnah International Airport also faced disruption of flight operations due to bad weather conditions. 

The special flight from Karachi to Mashhad was cancelled. The flight of National Airlines from Karachi to Dubai was delayed for more than 3 hours. The flights from Emirates, Air Arabia, Saudi Airlines, Air Blue, Qatar and Pegasus Air were also delayed for several hours. 

There are more than 10 national and international flights that have been delayed. The Aviation Authority has started rerouting various flights from Karachi to other airports. According to the Airport officials, the flight operation at Karachi airport will only resume after the weather conditions improve, and no flight will land or take off until the weather improves.
