Govt notifies transfer, posting of senior officers
The federal government has announced a series of appointments and transfers across various departments, 24NewsHD TV reported.
According to a notification issued on Tuesday, Dr Hamid Atiq Sarwar, a retired BPS-22 Inland Revenue Service officer, has been appointed as a member of the Strategic Transformation, Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Headquarters, Islamabad, on a one-year contractual basis.
Muhammad Ismail Iqbal has been transferred from Chief of the National Commission on the Status of Women and directed to report to the Establishment Division.
PAS grade-21 officer Ahsan Ali Mangi is posted as Director General of the National Institute of Public Administration.
Similarly, Controller Military Accounts (DP) Rawalpindi, Umar Ali Shah Binori, has been transferred and appointed as Chief Internal Auditor at the Senate Secretariat.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has approved the appointments of Dr. Sohail Munir as Chairperson and Muhammad Javed as a senior member of the Pakistan Digital Authority for a five-year term on contract.
