Imran Khan being kept in solitary confinement: Salman Raja

PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja has said that PTI founder Imran Khan was being falsely implicated in different cases under a conspiracy, adding that all judgments against Imran Khan stand on witness statements of two police men. 

Talking to media outsides Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi, Salman Raja demanded transparent investigations. He said how two policemen reached inside Zaman Park Lahore. 

He said politicians were being handed down 10 years of sentences citing the statements of two policemen. He said even English rulers had never committed such injustices. PTI founder Imran Khan has been kept in solitary confinement for four weeks. He said on such decisions, the properties of the parliamentarians were being auctioned. 

He made it clear that PTI will not take part in by elections. He said some party leaders opined that participation in election is necessary. He said Imran Khan will made final decision. He said meeting with Imran Khan was fixed at 2pm but not allowed till 3pm. Meetings of lawyers and family members are being stopped and the order of the Islamabad High Court were not being implemented. He said this is the situation since March 25, there is a complete ban on meetings.
