Man dies, 25 injured as sleepy bus driver causes road crash in Jaranwala

A man lost his life and 25 travellers seriously injured when a passenger bus overturned in Jaranwala on Tuesday, 24NewsHD TV reported.

According to details, the accident took place at the Saidwala Motorway Interchange in Jaranwala. The Rescue 1122 sources that the driver of the passenger bus fell asleep.

The bus was coming from Okara to Jaranwala. 

The dead passenger was identified as Hyder, who was 25 years old.

Soon after the accident, the Rescue 1122 team rushed to the spot and provided first aid to six passengers on the spot.

The passengers who received minor injuries include Ali Hassan, Yasir, Daniyal, Karam and Rutam. The passengers who were shifted to the hospital are Hussain, Fayyaz, Ali Zain, Saqlain, Irtaza Hassan, Samar Abbas, Ahsan, Mohsin Abbas, Salman, Arsalan Mohsin, Imran, Ghulam Abbas, Waqas Ali, Qurban, Asad, Ali Haider, Hassan Raza, and Ghulam Abbas.
