Mimicry star Pala Suresh passes away after cardiac arrest

The Indian entertainment world is mourning the loss of popular mimicry artist and actor Pala Suresh, who passed away at the age of 53 following a sudden cardiac arrest.

According to reports, Suresh was found unresponsive at his residence in Piravom and rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was declared dead.

With a career spanning over three decades, Suresh was a household name in Kerala’s cultural circuit.

Known for his sharp comic timing and spot-on imitations, he could effortlessly recreate the voices and mannerisms of well-known figures, most famously former Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy.

His mimicry acts were a staple at stage shows, festivals, and television programs, making him one of the most admired entertainers of his generation.

Beyond mimicry, Suresh carved a niche in Malayalam cinema with character roles that highlighted his natural wit and timing.

Among his notable appearances was the 2013 hit ABCD: American-Born Confused Desi, starring Dulquer Salmaan.

Over the years, he remained actively involved with popular mimicry troupes such as Kollam Narma and Cochin Rasika, continuing to perform across Kerala and abroad.

The news of Suresh’s sudden passing has left both fans and colleagues in shock.
