Woman dies, eight rescued as van catches fire on Motorway

Woman died as passenger van caught fire at M-2 Motorway in Chakwal, however, eight passengers were rescued, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel. ‎

According to rescue officials, nine people were on board on Suzuki Every van which caught fire on Motorway in Chakwal area. Motorway officials said passengers were going to Lahore from Islamabad when steering of van locked and suddenly it caught fire.‎

Motorway police and rescue teams reached the site shortly after the incident and shifted the injured and victim to nearby hospital.
