Pakistan Navy reviews maritime threats, operational readiness
Pakistan Navy’s Command and Staff Conference, chaired by Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf, reviewed traditional and non-traditional maritime threats and the security situation at strategic choke points.
During the conference, Admiral Ashraf stressed the need to maintain the Pakistan Navy’s continuous war preparedness amid evolving maritime security challenges.
He said the acquisition of modern weapons and advanced technology was essential to effectively address emerging threats in the maritime domain.
The conference also highlighted the Pakistan Navy’s role in promoting regional peace and stability and ensuring maritime security.
The naval chief was briefed on the Pakistan Navy’s ongoing and future plans, including measures aimed at strengthening its operational capabilities.
Admiral Ashraf expressed satisfaction with the operational preparedness of the Pakistan Navy to defend the country’s maritime frontiers.
