The Wildlife Department has sent a proposal to increase the ticket rates of Punjab Wildlife Parks including Lahore Zoo, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

The decision has been taken to charge the same price in all the wildlife parks of Punjab. The new prices will be implemented from next year.

It has been proposed to increase the zoo ticket price from Rs40 to Rs100. Wherein, it has also been proposed to increase the ticket price for children from Rs20 to Rs50.

It is also proposed to increase the price of safari tickets to Rs100 and 50 against the current price of Rs50 and Rs20 for adults and children respectively.
